How does the custom portrait process work?
Place your order, upload your photo and include any special requests. A digital proof is created within 1–3 business days. You can request adjustments before the artwork is printed and dispatched.
Will I see a proof before printing?
Yes. Every order includes a digital proof so you can review the portrait and request changes before printing.
How many revisions are included?
For the original artwork, two free revisions and minor adjustments are included during the proof stage to make sure you’re happy with the final artwork.
Can I request specific changes?
Yes, background edits, colour tweaks, text and combining photos are all possible. Just include details when ordering or reply to your proof email.
How long does it take to create my portrait?
Proofs are typically delivered within 1–3 business days. Final timing depends on how quickly revisions are approved.

What photo works best for a portrait?
Clear, high-resolution images with good lighting work best. Natural light and sharp facial details help achieve the best results.
Can you combine multiple photos into one portrait?
Yes. You can provide multiple photos and specify how you’d like them combined.
Can you remove or change the background?
Yes, usually for people and pet portraits the background is removed.
Can you add someone into a portrait?
Yes, this is possible using separate reference photos.
Can you create a portrait from old photos?

What sizes do you offer?
Prints are available in A5, A4, A3 and A2 sizes.
What is the difference between fine art and luster paper?

Which paper is best for watercolour portraits?
Fine art paper is recommended for a soft, authentic gallery look.
Are prints framed?
Prints are supplied unframed so you can choose a frame that suits your space.

When will my portrait be dispatched?
Printing and dispatch begin once your proof is approved.
Do you offer express delivery?
All approved artwork is dispatched using a free 24-hour delivery service.
Do you ship internationally?
At the moment we only dispatch to UK.
Can I order a last-minute gift?

Is delivery free?

Do you offer refunds on personalised artwork?
Due to the custom nature of the product, refunds are not available once artwork has been created.
What happens if my print arrives damaged?
Please contact us with photos and we’ll arrange a replacement.
